CPA CONTRACT LIFTING SERVICES

Graham Jones Contract Lifting Halton specialises in the provision of comprehensive contract lifting agreements. We operate as an efficient and reliable supply chain partner by providing a full lifting service that ensures your site complies with LOLER 1998 and key industry standards.

Our CPA (Construction Plant-Hire Association) contract lifting service is ideal if you do not have an Appointed Person to oversee the lift. It also offers a comprehensive and cost-effective solution if you are managing multiple contracts within a strict time schedule.

As members of the CPA, we operate in accordance with their stringent standards. Under this agreement, we assume responsibility for the lift, including equipment and personnel. We will plan and supervise your entire lifting operation, supply all necessary paperwork and instruct all personnel.

As we can tailor our CPA Contract Lifting agreements to suit specific needs, our service includes but is not limited to:

The provision of free, no obligation site surveys and assessments

The management of lifting and handling operations

The production of method statements and risk assessments

The appointment of a qualified Appointed Person, life supervisors, slings and signallers

Crane hire and complex lifting solutions of up to 1,000 tonnes capacity

The installation and removal of machinery and mechanical plant

Haulage and storage solutions

Please note, under contract lift conditions, you still retain certain liabilities. These will be discussed in full at the outset of our agreement.

CPA CRANE HIRE

We provide a reliable CPA Crane Hire service that enables you to hire a crane and a trained operative. Under the terms of the CPA (Construction Plant-Hire Association) Crane Hire agreement, the crane, operator and lift are the responsibility of the customer.

Your Appointed Person must be fully trained to plan the lift and can provide a full method statement and risk assessment in accordance with BS7121 and LOLER, whilst overseeing both personnel and equipment. You are also required to hold the necessary insurance that complies with current legislation.

We will supply a suitable crane with a trained driver to work in accordance with your lifting plan and under the instruction of your Appointed Person. You are responsible for ensuring your lift is fully planned and supervised at all times.
